GlobalMentor Reader requires that you first have Java 6.0 or above installed on your system.
- Download and install a Java 6.0 Java Runtime Engine (JRE) with Java Web Start (JWS) if you do not already have one installed.
- Launch GlobalMentor Reader from the web.
You will be asked to verify that you trust the GlobalMentor Reader software, along with the included Java libraries from Sun Microsystems, Inc. GlobalMentor Reader requires access to your system to read eBooks.
GlobalMentor Reader associates itself with the oebzip extension so that it can automatically launch when you activate an OEB Zip file on supported platforms. Future version of the software will support epub books.
