One of the most comprehensive implementation of the Open eBook specifications available.
Natively reads OEB package files (.opf) and OEB document files (.html/.htm).
Displays animated graphics using GIF89a (.gif) images.
Supports interactive Java applets embedded directly within eBook content.

Recognizes the full Unicode code point set through its robust handling of the UTF-8 and UTF-16 encodings.
Supports internationalized characters sets, including correct right-to-left flowing of the Arabic script.
